Robin and Margaret are originally from New Plymouth, New Zealand and endorsed by the Assemblies of God (NZ). They have been working in Africa since 1983.  Robin has been involved in church Leadership training and Margaret with children’s worker training.  In 1993, around the time of the death of their teenage daughter, Kristen, God birthed a desire in their hearts to reach out to the poor and needy. Working with street boys and disadvantaged youth, first in Kibera, one of the world’s largest slums, was the beginning of a project that now assists boys to leave the streets and gain experience in agriculture.  A feeding and literacy project for at-risk children led to the establishment of a nursery and primary school and a vocational training school.

What was intended to be a short stay has now spanned 29 years. In that time they have built churches, schools, youth programs, pastor mentoring programs, trained children and youth workers, oversee counsellors and social workers, the list goes on!

Robin & Margaret have 2 married children and 4 grandchildren.
